Terms and Conditions

This purchase is governed by the standard terms and conditions below for consumer purchases of goods over the Internet. Online consumer purchases are primarily regulated by the Contracts Act, Consumer Purchases Act, Marketing Control Act, Right of Cancellation Act, and E-Commerce Act.

1. The Agreement

The agreement consists of these terms and conditions, information provided in the ordering process, and any separately agreed terms. In case of conflict, separately agreed terms take precedence unless they conflict with mandatory legislation.

The consumer who places the order through our website or Vipps Payment Link.

3. Price

Listed prices include VAT and other applicable taxes. Standard shipping within Norway is NOK 73 per order (unless otherwise stated before payment). Any shipping costs and the total price are displayed before payment and are not charged without prior notice. We sell only physical goods and do not offer subscriptions/memberships.

4. Contract Formation

The agreement is binding when the order is submitted through the Vipps solution. However, it is not binding if there are typing or input errors that the other party realized or should have realized.

5. Payment

Payment is made in advance via Vipps Payment Link. The order is processed and shipped once payment is registered.

6. Delivery

We deliver throughout Norway. Items are normally shipped within 1-3 business days via Posten/Bring. Standard shipping is NOK 73 per order and is shown before payment. If delivery time is not specified, the item will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days.

7. Risk of the Goods

The risk passes to the buyer when the goods have been taken over by the buyer or their representative.

8. Right of Cancellation

The buyer may cancel the purchase within 14 days of receipt. Notice should be sent in writing to mediatvbox4k@gmail.com. The item must be returned in substantially the same condition, and the buyer covers return shipping costs unless the product is defective.

9. Returns and Refunds

For cancellations, return the product to: Media TV Box, Fjellsetveien 62, 2019 Skedsmokorset. Include order number (or payment reference) and contact details. Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Vipps) without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the cancellation notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided documentation that the goods have been sent back. The buyer pays return shipping for remorse returns.

10. Complaints and Warranty Claims

Report defects or transport damage as soon as possible and within a reasonable time to mediatvbox4k@gmail.com. Please include photos/video and a description of the issue, as well as proof of purchase (Vipps receipt/order reference). If a warranty card was included with the product, please include it.

Important: Please contact us before sending any product to us. Warranty/complaint returns must be agreed and approved by us by email first, so you receive the correct procedure and reference/order number.

The complaint period is two years (five years for items expected to last significantly longer). Remedies follow the Consumer Purchases Act: repair, replacement, price reduction, or cancellation with refund. We normally respond within 2 business days.

The customer normally ships the product to us at their own cost. If the claim is approved, we refund reasonable shipping costs (as agreed) or provide a return solution.

11. Delay and Non-Delivery

In case of delay, the buyer may withhold the purchase price, demand fulfillment, cancel the agreement, and/or claim compensation under the Consumer Purchases Act. Contact us promptly if the shipment has not arrived within the stated delivery window.

12. Seller's Rights in Case of Breach

In case of non-fulfillment by the buyer, the seller may demand fulfillment, withhold the goods, or cancel the agreement in case of material breach.

13. Warranty

Any warranties are in addition to the buyer's statutory rights.

14. Personal Data

Media TV Box is the data controller. We only store information necessary to fulfill the agreement and share it only with logistics partners and Vipps for payment and delivery.

15. Dispute Resolution

Complaints should be directed to us within a reasonable time. If we cannot reach an agreement, the case may be brought before the Consumer Council (phone 23 400 500 / forbrukerradet.no).
